It was beginning to be another glorious Saturday morning. And so I went for a walk. It's been awhile since I did this, so I could feel my body struggling, every step of the way, in my 5-kilometer walk. There is a regular running group in this park that starts at 8 a.m. The runners come from all ages, men, women and children, from different ethnicity and some even with their dogs leading the way. I did notice that there were less than 5 Kiwinoys in the group. A couple of running moms had their babies in the stroller with a very supportive dad running alongside. And the running shoes, wow, coming from all sahpes, sizes, colours and brands. I made do with my super cheap $7.99 rubber shoes from The Warehouse. It took me 35-minutes to finish. Must do better next time. It's another, normal, Saturday morning in Aotearoa New Zealand. I hope it stays this way because I have heaps of clothes to laundry. I love the smell of sun-dried clothes! But then that's another story!
